Woody's recommended Hidden Field Detector

If you previously downloaded Field Sniffer, we suggest you remove it before installing this utility. Go to Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs and select Field Sniffer from the list.

If you downloaded and manually installed an earlier version of Bill Coan's Hidden Field Detector, you MUST manually remove it from your Word Template Startup folder. Installation of this utility will fail if you do not remove it first! Here's our effort to help allay your fears over the "Document Collaboration Spyware" problem, compliments of Jefferson Scher, Claude Almer, Mike Craven, and all of us at Woody's Office Watch. It isn't a complete solution - far from it. But we hope it'll serve as a useful tool to help ensure that your documents don't contain hidden files or code to grab files from you. Until Microsoft fixes the stupid security hole, you need all the help you can get. But, before you strat downloading, we'd ask you to fill in this optional survey, thanks.
